Adrienne Beth Photography bio picture

Adrienne Beth Photography

I am a photographer out of the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area.  I have an incredible love of photography and have such a blast with it!

Want to know more about me?  I could simply rattle off where I went to school, list my degrees, and tell you who I have worked for, but that would be boring.  So instead here are some random tidbits about me:

I am married to my best friend, he keeps me sane.  I take my camera with me everywhere I go, seriously, even my big hoopty camera.  I love getting things in the mail.  I love football and even manage my own fantasy football team.  High heels are so much fun.  I am incredibly organized.  My toe nails are always painted. I go through an excessive amount of napkins at every meal.  Public restrooms totally gross me out and I avoid them whenever possible.  I love to travel but don't do it nearly enough.  My favorite place to be is on the beach.  I have a slight obsession with office supplies.  Did I mention I'm organized?  I love a good smoothie, a good sense of humor, and pretty much anything with chocolate in it.  I LOVE photographing people in love, it makes me happy.

Preggo update – 20 WEEKS!

Seeing as I will be 21 weeks tomorrow, this post is a full week late…oops!  My day job has been kicking my butt lately!  I’m going to share it with you anyway though!

We are 20 weeks along now which is halfway there!!  YAY!  It’s going so fast.  I look significantly different than I did in the 15 week photo I posted last.  My belly has finally “popped” and rounded out, and people believe me now when I tell them I’m pregnant. : )  In the last few weeks we had an ultrasound to confirm that our little one is most certainly a boy!!  We are so thrilled!  We also learned that my doctor got quite upset with us for having an early ultrasound performed elsewhere.  We still aren’t sure why they care about that, but just a heads up to those of you who may be considering that.

Here are a few stats where we are now (or last week, whatever):

How Far Along: 20 Weeks (halfway there!!)

Size of baby: Baby is the size of a cantalope

Maternity Clothes: Some days I wear maternity clothes, and other days I wear my regular clothes.  It just depends on how I am feeling that day.  I have noticed that my work skirts have lasted much longer than my work pants.

Gender: It’s a BOY!!

Movement: Yes!  I first felt him move in week 19, and Colt was able to feel him in week 20.  I love feeling him kick around in there.

Sleep: I’m sleeping okay.

What I miss: Sushi and sleeping on my stomach.

Cravings: I still crave carbs, and sweets.  Last week I was seriously craving fruit roll-ups so Colt picked up three boxes of them for me! : )

Symptoms: Other than my ever expanding belly and having to pee all the time, nothing much!  YAY!

Gender Reveal Party

Over the weekend we hosted a Gender Reveal Party for our close relatives and friends.  It was a blast!!   Here is a peak at our invitations from Liv’s Etsy shop at Belle Announcements, which were a huge hit.  We love football and these fit us well!  Please excuse the white blocks, I have hidden our address and phone number.

Everyone showed up in their “team” color!  It was so cool to see everyone there dressed in either pink or blue just for us.   Once guests arrived they were asked to “vote” and put their name on one side of the banner.  I will later use the boy side of the banner to hang up in our hospital delivery room, that is my plan anyway. : )

The cake however was the main event of the party.  Our guests knew that the inside of the cake was going to be either pink or blue.  Once we cut into it they would all see the result at the same time.  We ordered our cake from the fabulous Stephanie of Cakes by Stephanie, who was kind enough to prepare the cake within hours of finding out the gender!  It was amazing and looked perfect!!!

Everyone was SOOOO anxious for us to just cut the cake already.  The time finally came and it was blue. : )

Everyone was so surprised since the general consensus was girl. : )  It was so much fun to see everyone’s expression!!  Now we just can’t wait for him to get here!!!

IT’S A BOY!!!!

We found out over the weekend we are expecting a little boy!!!  We are already over the moon in love with him.  I just can’t wait to see his sweet face!!! : )

Please ignore the “It’s a Girl” banner behind us, it was part of our Gender Reveal Party.  More photos and details to come!! : )
