I am a photographer out of the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area. I have an incredible love of photography and have such a blast with it!

Want to know more about me? I could simply rattle off where I went to school, list my degrees, and tell you who I have worked for, but that would be boring. So instead here are some random tidbits about me:

I am married to my best friend, he keeps me sane. I take my camera with me everywhere I go, seriously, even my big hoopty camera. I love getting things in the mail. I love football and even manage my own fantasy football team. High heels are so much fun. I am incredibly organized. My toe nails are always painted. I go through an excessive amount of napkins at every meal. Public restrooms totally gross me out and I avoid them whenever possible. I love to travel but don't do it nearly enough. My favorite place to be is on the beach. I have a slight obsession with office supplies. Did I mention I'm organized? I love a good smoothie, a good sense of humor, and pretty much anything with chocolate in it. I LOVE photographing people in love, it makes me happy.

Kevin & Dominique – PROPOSAL

Kevin contacted me a looong time ago about photographing his proposal to Dominique. I was ecstatic! I love love love proposals and have always wanted to photograph one!! Kevin knew from the not so subtle hints from Dominique that she would want the proposal to be photographed….he listened. It took awhile for the stars to align and for their schedules to work out in a way that he could propose how he wanted to, but it was worth the wait!

I solicited Colt to help block me and watch for them knowing that Dominique wouldn’t recognize him. We hid behind a random car as we waited for them to cross the street and walk along Riverside Drive. I tried to be stealthy, but at 39 weeks pregnant and carrying a big ol’ camera I am anything but stealthy! We noticed a woman walking towards us giving us a really strange look, but we tried to stay focused. It wasn’t until she started to get IN the car that we realized it was her car we were hiding behind! Oops! So we ran and squatted behind the next parked car. As Kevin and Dominique walked further down Riverside Drive, we ran and hid behind the next car and the next car (pregnant belly, big hoopty cameras, and all). We stayed just a few yards behind them hoping she didn’t see us stalking them. Thankfully she didn’t and we were able to get close enough to them to grab a few shots of the proposal.
